I did this illustration about six years ago. I sat and just begun drawing. No plan... just allowed any story to come out and for any characters to jump onto the paper. And... this is what appeared.
The mediums used were pen and coloured pencils.
THE TALE //
Featuring a sweet and endearing story of a shy little girl named Elle whom no one in the neighbourhood knows much about and a boy by the name of Nick who has an exuberant and daring nature, prone to getting in trouble. And stuck in trees... as you can see here. He seems quite the silly boy, right? No, not so much. He’s just playful... and drawn towards heights.
This scene captures the moment these two characters encounter for the first time just as Elle saves Nick from a not so graceful, mostly painful descend to the ground from apple tree picking.
