This illustration captures the scene in which Loretta playfully dabs paint on Michael’s nose. She had been painting a life-size canvas piece with floral motifs and grandiose detail. When it comes to her creative work, it is all about the intricate and elaborate.

Assuming Loretta could not hear Michael coming along as she was painting, he eagerly walks up behind her with her favourite flowers in hand. Much to his surprise, Loretta swiftly turns to intently startle him. Simultaneously, she flicks up her brush and dabs it gently onto the bridge then tip of his nose.

“This is how I feel about you,” Loretta sang out. A simple gesture translated into how it was easy for Loretta to feel so much for Michael.
